Forming your own cell of citizens

So you decide to become a citizen, having of course looked at everything in detail. Assuming you are not joining an existing cell you will need to form your own. Cells can have any number of citizens, some have a lot and some are principally small groups. Some are open but most are secret. When your cell has 5 citizens, the founder of the cell and one other elected citizen from the cell are promoted to Knights and continue to promote and run the cell. As a cell you can decide to have your own subscription system so as to cover costs and of course, any citizen can decide to break away at any time and form their own cell. We would hope that they would get the encouragement of the cell, and that cells who have contact work together where possible, and form communities.

It is important that you do not persuade, or pressure anyone to join. This is not a religion, we are not after converts, and definitely don't want to sign up people to inflate numbers only.

At this time the organization is secret, so it is important that you also keep the names of members of your cell and any others you come into contact with secret. You may think you live in a free country where victimization and the picking on minority groups does not take place. However there are bad eggs in any society and people who fear the loss of power or authority often choose to pull people together towards their cause by picking on others.

Subscriptions - we have no compulsory subscriptions

We don't have any subscriptions from the center. Prior to the suspension of the clubs the subs from these and income from associated businesses covered the cost. Now things are far tighter. If you wish to donate you can, but remember you do not have to. Payments by standing order or bank transfer should be made to (suspended for security reasons) this for those who have been a member of any of the New Atlantis clubs is the same account used for club subs.

You can also send donations anonymously or in cash, however its really better to use your funds within your own cell as a priority and only where you can spare a little more to make a central donation. We have cut our costs and we never have had any paid staff.

The central register of citizens.

The central register of citizens is not at this point being added to. This does not stop you becoming a citizen, it just means you are not centrally registered. The cells do however need to be linked, so information can flow. This is archived by new cells linking to existing ones. If you are establishing a cell and do not know of any other cell, then this is the only case where you email us and tell us. We will then either treat you as a new top level cell or put you in contact with an existing cell.
