UK difficulties cause reduction of activities

Prior to a point in 1999, within the UK we had  a large number of national clubs running, a very busy programme of activities and far more, including a number of TV productions and having moved to a larger training centre. This all came to an abrupt end when Are offices was raided illegally and all our records/computers etc stolen by corrupt police who were working closely with a business competitor of one of our agency companies. 

Just about all UK club activities were suspended in 1999. This is due to problems encountered and legal problems stopped us from telling you fully about  Although you may have read part on the main Independent Inquiry Society site before it went off line in 1999. A reduced IIS site is now running again.

New Atlantis  and the independent Inquiry Society had gone into secret running mode so as to protect members from persecution. As it turned out just in time before we were illegally raided.

As at March 2002, the situation is that we have no charges outstanding, having been cleared of them all, the last in December last when the judge was very complimentary to our president and critised the action of the police. He ruled at that time that they still had 2 transit lorry loads of our material, most of which was not in any way relevant to their enquiries. Since that we have had one large box full back, the rest they still have.

We are unable to complete the projects we started partly because so much key information is still missing, varying from TV master tapes to scripts, and even if we had it all back the peoples appearances will have changed, many will have moved or lost interest, and some locations are no longer available.

It is therefore not practical to restart the UK clubs and activities before the corupt action stopped us.

Therefore the rest of this section is included only from an historic viewpoint so that you can see some of what was going on before so much of our work was destroyed.

Although within the UK section we have left a lot of information from an historic viewpoint so that you can see just what was running within the UK prior to problems.

New Atlantis Citizens who know of other NA sites outside the UK will find that although the sites are not publicized you can still get to them, and likewise the Independent Inquiries Societies mirror sites are still running. The main Independent Inquiry Society site has been simplified so as to eliminate the justification for anyone to interfere further with us.

The UK IIS section here is, shall we say an edited site, it reports some of the UK investigations in highlight only.

Message to UK authorities.

New Atlantis is and always has been a peaceful organization. We have written in the past to every level of government and many government departments in the UK, so their is no reason for you to fear us.

Although varicose departments and the UK police continues to harass and try to intimidate us, we cannot be eliminated. Yes the UK clubs and Most of the UK related businesses are suspended, but it is your citizens that was benefiting.
